My name is Dan Meythaler, owner of Meythaler Photography! I am a small business branding, senior portrait, family, wedding, and school & sports photographer. Let me tell you a little about me. Fifteen years ago I started my business in a two-bedroom house that I rented in Des Moines, IA, with my now wife, Britt. Nine years ago we sold everything and moved our family to Jefferson, IA. We purchased and renovated a historical building right down on the square and turned it into a storefront studio! We also live just a few blocks away in a historic home we are renovating.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and learn more about me. Here are a few fun facts about me!

#1 I have a fantastic wife, Britt, two sons, Cooper & Grayson, and a cute yellow lab named Tucker

#2 I love traveling and sightseeing, but nothing is better than being at home!

#3 I am the cook in the house but still love to cook as a family more than anything else

#4 Family comes first in my house

#5 I am a gamer. I love to play video games on the weekends with a group of friends I have played with for 15 years!
 
#6 Sitting in the backyard having a bonfire with our friends is one of my favorite things to do in the summer
 
#7 We love old buildings. Our studio is over 135 years old, and our house is almost 100 years old. When we find the time, we try to restore and clean them up!
